As our guest you can either choose from our pre-established trips, or design your own trip after discussions and advice from our highly experienced desert guides. The desert is also a perfect environment for meditation and yoga with its total peace and silence, and the hot springs and sand is known for its beneficial effects on arthritis and tired muscles.

Day 1: Cairo – Desert
By jeep we leave Cairo early in the morning and drive direction Bahariya Oasis. On the way we have the possibility to stop for photo shootings. Before we reach into Bahariya, we will leave the asphalt road and drive in the desert to see fantastic scenery. We will spend the night out in the desert and enjoy the first night under the stars.

Day 2: Cave
Exploring the cave by daylight and later also in the night. We will spend all the day in this splendid nature. At night we have the opportunity to enter the cave with torches.

Day 3: Cave – Magic Spring
Driving off road, we will pass by “Melon Stones”. During the trip we will have the opportunity to make stops for photo shootings and stretching the legs. When we reach the Magic Spring we take a bath in a natural spring to wash the sand from the days before.

 Day 4: Magic Spring – White Desert
After driving along the famous “mushrooms” we will make a one hour walk in this picturesque scenery. Later we choose a nice place where we will build our camp and enjoy the sunset. The scenery in moonlight is different and worth seeing it.

Day 5 + 6: White Desert – Abu Minqar (Great Sand Sea)
Driving to Abu Minqar where we will meet a Bedouin family. Here we are going to spend the day and the night in order to learn the life of Bedouins. In the evening we will have a traditional family meeting with other men from the family and we are going to observe stars and will have the possibility to listen to desert stories from camel caravans. The next morning we are going to see how Bedouins prepare bread in the desert. We will learn all about the Bedouin hospitality and even slaughter a goat and cook it on fire. The night we spend out in the Desert of Great Sand Seas.

Day 7: Abu Mimqar - Farafra Oasis and Black Desert
In the morning we drive to Farafra Oasis, where we have a bath in a hot spring. Later we will visit the famous Art Museum where you can participate on workshops with Badr (painting and stone sculpture). In the afternoon we drive to Black Desert. We take the chance to visit a Lady who is doing a traditional Henna workshop (hand, feet and hair) for those who are interested. After, we will camp in the area of Black Desert.

Day 8: Black Desert - Bahariya
We drive to the Oasis of Bahariya and make a short brake in Bahariya to see daily life of people living in the Oasis. In the afternoon we continue our way to the Oasis of Fayoum.

Day 9: Wady Rayan - Fayyum
In Wady Rayan we are going to visit the only waterfall of Egypt.
We will end our desert trip on your hotel in Fayoum.

Day 10: back to cairo .depature
